challenge #143 - Cruze

Well, things have been pretty crazy around here.......for months, really. My computer went into fibrillation earlier on in the week and though we have been able to resuscitate it on and off (like now - let's hope I make it to the end of the post!!!), and the ipad is useless for blogger posts - I haven't found an app that allows me to do enough editing to the posts to make it look like I want, so the computer's the only option.

A new computer is on it's way, though, I am scared of Windows 8, so I may be buried in the learning curve for a bit.

So, the challenge - I hadn't had a chance to play with cruze and scribbled down some ideas earlier in the week, finally got a chance to finish off this piece today.

My mini break for Melbourne Cup week is over and I have 5 weeks till the end of the term/end of my 2 year contract - I cannot wait!

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

    1. PS - good luck with the new computer. After a couple of new PC's died on me within a year I went over to an Apple MacBook.. That was a learning curve, but, I got there and now absolutely love it.

    2. I've gone through a few computers in the last 5 years or so - I tossed up getting a mac but the cost along with having to update software etc, I decided to stick with a windows pc for now.

    1. I got a guy at officeworks to run through it a bit with me - I'm less frightened with the new update allowing me to have a start button :)

  9. I love what you did with Cruze. I must try getting more fluid with my work. As for Windows 8, I found what worked for me was to put the things I need most often on the taskbar on the bottom of the screen. That shows all the time and so I can find them right away. Good luck!

  10. I like it a lot. I'm impressed that you can draw Cruze in this curvy way without getting lost in the steps. Good luck with your new computer.

  11. I tried Cruze when it was first introduced but it didn't look anything like yours! I think I will give it another go. This piece is like a reflected silver or chrome surface. Your shading is amazing while the black ribbon/string (!) mooka is a beautiful contrast. I thoroughly enjoy seeing your art. :-D
