challenge #93 - bunzo

This weeks challenge was to use the new tangle Bunzo. It's a cool, organic looking tangle that I bet people are doing amazing things with.........unfortunately, it wasn't really working for me today.

Tried my brainstorming page technique which gave me a few ideas, but in the end I'm just o.k. with the finished results, I just wish I really loved them. Ah, well. There's always next week!

Love the name. Bunzo. Sounds a like an aussie guy that you'd invite around for a bbq. Bunzo. Bunzo me maaaaayte.

Anyway, here is my weeks contribution.

Bunzinky: the continuous pattern made me think of a slinky going down the stairs.
Ribbon:
Bunzo beads
These two were fun to do :)
Brainstorming page. The starfish thing actually creeps me out a bit. The bunzo in the centre looks like a writhing vortex. And the arms. It's wrong, oh so very, very wrong.

Can't wait to see what everyone else has come up with!

Very cool. Nice interpretations......tangleations .

BUNZO was a nickname we called our son, Noah, when he was little. I would scream it out at his soccer matches when he scored! which was quite often....he still plays!
He didn't much care for it then...but has (with good humor) resigned himself to the moniker in his old age (he is now 35)

Thankyou, Maria:)

Here in Australia we seem to have a preponderance of men with nicknames ended in "o" like johnno, dicko, simmo........ as a child, we would call our son benno, though I am the only one who gets away with calling him this now.

Love all you did, but the stair is my prefered! Seems moving up to me, is very unique. This week I did my first weekly challenge, but was no easy, because I was all the time thinking that people will see my work. I´m not very happy with result, but I love zentangles, then I will try and try until do it better.

When I looked at your Bunzinky drawing, I immediately had a vision of a scene in which the Bunzinky is the creature crawling on the stairs from under a child's bed as the amazed child peers down the stairs after it. It made me laugh.

Love them all but the bunzo creeping up the stairs is my fav. Such a different take on it.
Like your ribbon. As usual though I enjoy your creativeness in your tangles.

I love your creative Bunzo's. I really love your blog! Thanks for sharing so many great tangles. You work has such a graceful, soft, and lovely feel to it. You are a very gifted artist!
Really delightful! Would love some beads like that. Interesting how the lollipops end up looking like the tangle Marasu.
Btw, lollipop is typed entirely with the right hand :)
