Here are a few more ideas for changing up the STEPS pattern that I posted yesterday
I know, I know, it's a confusing name.....but when a pattern name (or book title) feels right I am compelled to go with it - I am helpless to resist the pull of my compulsive nature.
1. Start with a curved line
(I love how simply beginning with a curved line dictates that the curves follow through the whole design and create a more organic, flowing feel).
2. Use "S" shapes to fill in design
(a much more organic version)

(yep, the stuff that just doesn't fit anywhere else)
Hope your weekend is fabulous!

Brilliant idea and so versatile (excuse the pun I think I must be doing too many of these zentangle tile) can't wait to try it out today. Can I ask what media you use for the colours original post. I have just purchased some copic pens with a view to trying this type of blended colour.
Thanks again for sharing.
Steve
Thank you :) I am very glad to be heading into warmer weather!
I use Letraset Tria markers and pro markers for colouring - Copics should easily do just as well :)
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Helen
I found out which ones you use after looking back through your posts (and a very interesting video where you were using colour) I'm going to have a good look at your older posts I think keep up the good work it's a joy go see

Steve
