strung out........

well over string-type drawings.

Some stapled Quib:

Yesterday I thought I would have a play with Michelle Beauchamp's lovely new pattern: mak-rah-mee - but, I was upstairs and forgot to put the wireless on so couldn't check on my ipad how it was actually supposed to look, so I just winged it and ended up with this hot mess. LOL.

So, today I put the wireless ON and had a quick play - some rough curves in this one, but fun to do.

Quib and Mak Rah Mee are so right up your alley! Your flowing lines are so beautiful!
Really lovely! I'm not much of a curly-flowy drawer, so these two tangles are rather a challenge for me.

It would be so cool if you were to do a string tutorial...you know, start with the very simple and progress to the more complicated strings...I look at your string work and immediately try to break it down! Just saying!

Hi Tonda, I might try and do a video when I have time, but in the meantime have you seen this post where I've done a basic step-out?

You always inspire me with your work. I love it! Your "hot mess" looks just like what I come up with when I try to knit! 8^D I've seen your step out for your 'string theory' but a video would be great if you find the time! Hugz!

These are so flowingly beautiful. I especially like the one with the dowels.
