Well Well Who Tangle Pattern Experimentation

Some pattern play from this week:

Well Well Who going solo........

Then playing with others...........

And layered with the addition of some simple patterns. I prefer the plain versions, I think.

Have a great week! Me.........I am just trying to contain myself until Game of Thrones final season begins in a few days!!!!!

  1. Oh, Helen - you are so OUT there!!!! Love your experimentation and warping of patterns. I think they're all great but the last one is the winner in my book. Thank you for sharing. Whenever I see one of your emails in my Inbox I wonder "What is she going to be up to this time?" You never disappoint; always inspire. Best wishes ... Robby

  3. Oh Helen! Your interpretation of tangles is to die for. I wished I had only a 10th of your imagination and I would be the proudest person in the whole of South East Asia. Yes, at LEAST S.E.A.
When I saw your first I thought: Wow! How intricately elegant...a whiff and it will blow away (so I held my breath while looking at it).
Then came a whole group of them. The girls of the British TV series Dancing on Ice jumped to mind (when only the professionals skate!!!).
And then number 3. What can I say except that I am still thoroughly eyeballing it!!! It is feathery airy, super cool, amazingly beautiful and so typically H.W.!!!
Thanks, Helen, for yet an inspiring post.
14th! I, too, am ready for it..more than ready. And after that another long wait for the prequel. Haaaaalleluyahhhhh.

    1. Hi Susie! Thank you :) My fave in this set is definitely the first - still flow-y, but minimalist - just the way I like it!

One more sleep to go for GOT! Feeling excited!!!! h

    2. Yes, the first one is special indeed with its complimentary leaves, but the others are not far behind.
GoT. Oh! It was great!!! I loved every minute of e1. I am sure you did, too. ...and now also HE knows who he is...
      Have a nice day.

  5. Of course they are all beautiful but I agree with you, the first is my favorite. You definitely always put a special look to tangles I would have otherwise overlooked. Lovely ...

    1. Thanks, Denise :) I like being able to put my own spin on them, though, have to admit this one was a little less versatile than I would've liked, but still definitely fun :) h

  6. I'm still finding my way with Well, Well, Who - but presumed that additional patterning it was necessary, but now I see your first example, it's divine like that. With that extra layer of appendages. I need to try it that way!

    1. It was fun to play with, but I think the structure of this pattern is a little limiting, so not my fave, but still an enjoyable experiment testing the boundaries. I'm sure others would do far more with it than I could think of. I definitely prefer it without pattern and just let the shading do the work.

Hope you have fun with further experimentation! Thanks hx

    1. Hi Helen! I am sooooooo excited for the start of GOT. One more sleep! It airs here at 11.30am Monday - streaming the same time as US, but I will have to wait until the evening to watch it with my husband. Let's hope I can stop myself from accidentally falling on the tv remote at 11.25am and just having to watch the first episode alone! hahaha. hx
