PLEASE NOTE:
  • Before purchase, please read all of the information so that you can make an informed decision as sales of digital products are final.
  • Downloading: I believe the best method is to download to a computer then transfer files to your device, this gives you a backup. Though it can be done, device downloads can be temperamental. If you don't have a computer, please see my help videos to view how I download the digital journals directly to my iPad.
  • Need help? See my help videos, or feel free to contact me. With regard to using and downloading the journals, I use an iPad and the GoodNotes app. For Android devices, I suggest Xodo.
  • Please contact me with any suggestions or feedback. This is a new adventure for me and I would love to hear any suggestions for future templates and layouts that would make this a better tool for you.
  • Copyright Information: These digital journals and sticker sets are made available for personal use only and cannot be reproduced, redistributed or used in any manner whatsoever without the express permission of the author, Helen Williams. All rights reserved.

  1. Could I print it out if I wanted to? Like if I wanted a hard copy to put in my traveler's notebook? I'm SUPER-INTERESTED!!! What a great idea!

    1. Hi Kim. Thanks for your interest. Sure, it's possible to print it out, but the quality of the print may be lower than you would desire.

The journals and stickers are designed for digital devices and a lower resolution is used in order to have manageable file sizes and quick loading on devices. Documents designed for print have higher resolution and different colour settings = better quality prints.

I hope that helps :) Helen

  2. I am very interested in learning how to use at least one of these journals. Now is the hard part to make a choise between them. I have no drawing device other than a stylus for touchscreen. But i still think the journals could be useful. Thanks for stimulating us to use our digital devices in our tangling adventures.
Best wishes for succes with your journals

    2. I wrote ". I have no drawing device other than a stylus for touchscreen" that was not true. I suddenly remembered i had a Wacom volito drawing pad laying under de dust in a drawer; Bad me; I have now dusted and cleaned the drawing pad and ....huray the pen and the pad are still working so i can explore digitale drawing with a whole range of apps on my laptop .

    1. Thanks, Deb. You're welcome - and, thank you!!! I think you could use these journals for any application really - just use the templates that work best for whatever requirement. I dubbed it a tangle journal because that is what I had in mind when I created it and made some of the page layouts specifically to suit - particularly in the A-Z journal for keeping a record of patterns. Hope it does turn out to be useful for you :) Helen

  4. Hi Helen. The journal is a great idea. I think I will be able to use it for my jewellery photos and sketches as well. I could be very busy tonight filling it up! Thanks.

  5. Do you have any videos on how to use Procreate to do tangles?

  6. Hi Helen - your two digital journals look so exciting. Congratulations. I am just having a little difficulty in working out how I would actually draw patterns on the pages? I notice there are a couple of pen icons on the top of the journal area. Would I use these to draw my patterns? Or, you mention GoodNotes. Do I install that and then that enables me to draw on your pages? So sorry to not understand the concept. Do you have an instructional video so I can see how you 'put pen to paper'. I have an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil (and desktop computer for downloading as you suggest). Many thanks for any assistance in understanding so I can purchase your journals ... Robby

    1. Hi Robby, I use GoodNotes to open and draw in the journals. You can find some help videos here showing how to downliad, add stickers, etc. : https://alittlelime.blogspot.com/p/digital-tangle-journal-tutorial-videos.html?m=1

      Hope that helps. Helen 😊

    2. Thanks for replying, Helen. I think the only way for me to really understand is to get one of the journals and 'play'. I didn't quite understand whether you drew your tangles in Good Notes or downloaded them from another app. I've now got Procreate and Good Notes. So ... onwards and upwards, ha, ha. Thanks so much for your creativity and encouragement to keep the grey matter working. Look forward to seeing what you come up with next. Very best wishes ... Robby
