  1. Helen, your simple flower and string amaze me! I am looking at it carefully, and cannot figure out where you started the stem, since it coils over itself so many times. Every time I think I've figured it out, I realize the stem is looping over the under one! Please consider making a video of yourself drawing this simple and yet complex and beautiful image. Then share the video with us, your devoted fans!

    1. Thank you, Ethyl :) I'll put it on my list of ideas. My video-ing activities have been temporarily put on hold as my little studio with the beautiful light was being used first by my son and now for a couple of months by an intermittent houseguest. I should have my space back again by winter, though :) h

    1. I'll have to see how I go :) I've had to put video-ing on hold for a bit as my studio is being used as a guest room. h

  3. I really like it too and am going to give it a try. I think I'd do the 2 back petals, the 3 middle petals starting from the right, then finish off with the 2 side-front ones....making sure that each one is in line with the top of the stem.

I would sure like to see you do it on a video, though, Helen. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Helen, I really love how you do flowers! Would it be possible for you to show us more instruction on how you design and create different kinds of flowers?
